Equb Pay uses Plaid to link member bank accounts. Plaid is used by Venmo, Coinbase, Cash App, and thousands of financial apps. Your banking credentials are encrypted end-to-end and never stored by Equb Pay.
How Your Money Moves
Equb Pay is not a bank and does not hold your money. Funds move directly between member bank accounts via ACH — the same electronic payment system used for direct deposit and bill pay. Your bank's own FDIC coverage protects your funds while they are in your account.
Data Security
All data transmitted through Equb Pay is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Sensitive financial data is encrypted at rest. We store only the account information necessary to process your contributions and payouts.

You see the fee for your position before you confirm it. If you don't like the position, you don't have to take it. Transparency isn't a feature for us — it's the whole point.
